Presenting MIRCHI gold plated chili pod dangle earrings from our seedpod inspired series. These earrings feature striking red hand blown glass elements made by artisans from Firozabad, India. Chilies are an identity marker in many cultures particularly Southwestern US, South American and South Asian cultures. Choose from opaque Red or translucent Green chili earrings.
🌼These earrings have a modern and at once a tribal feel to them which you'll come to love! Metal components are made with nickel and lead free brass with 22K gold plated brass, intentionally designed with sterling silver ear wires.

Fun chili pod earrings representing protection, prosperity and rootedness in indigenous traditions are such a great conversation starter! in South Asian culture chilies are often used as protection from misfortune and dispel negative energy. It's also an important marker for flavor, warmth and hospitality.
The small town of Firozabad has been a center of hand blown glass works historically. All our glass components are made of highest quality borosilicate. The craft of mouth-blowing glass requires exceptional skill, coordination, hand movement and intuition.

Care Instructions
To avoid tarnish, please store in an airtight bag with anti tarnish strips it comes with. Please avoid contact with chlorinated water. Wear perfume, deodorant etc. before putting on the jewelry. Over a period of time a slight tarnish gives it an antique look. If you don't find it desirable, try wiping it with a jewelry polishing cloth.
