Story
Pennata earrings are hand embroidered one tiny glass bead at a time on a velvet backing. In the center glows an iridescent Elytra beetle wing sourced from a certified UK based ethical supplier. These wings are collected from the forest floor once the Elytra beetle complete their life span of 3-4 weeks of adult stage. Spectacular emerald iridescence exhibits brilliant shades of green, purple, blues and golden browns. A lovely textural feel is created by using faceted tube beads which are topped by another tiny glass beads to convey the brilliant texture of Mosses.
Tiny glass beads and use of fabric backing makes these earrings super lightweight and comfortable. A fabulous statement ear ornament which transitions seamlessly from a casual look to a dressy one. Hand embroidery by generational embroidery artisan Imran Ji and his team.
